With over 150 years of commitment to women and girls, the YWCA Montreal continues to grow, developing new projects and initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the community.

A new project is coming to life at the YWCA Montreal: Résidenti’ELLE.

This 96-unit residence will support women in building greater stability and autonomy.

We are currently recruiting the team that will bring this project to life every day.

    Free à la carte services, to help you with your job search or your career orientation, offered by an expert team of counselors.

    WOMEN’S WORK INTEGRATION PROGRAM (WWIP)

    Free training workshops for unemployed women. 19-week group program.

    Eligibility criteria (OSE)*

    - Be without a job or working/studying part-time*
    - Be a resident of Montreal Island
    - Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, accepted refugee or an open work permit
    - Meet the eligibility criteria of the ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale

    * Under certain conditions, this program is also available to women working 35h/week if they are working under precarious job conditions or holding a position below their education level
    Eligibility criteria (WWIP)*

    - Be a resident of the Island of Montreal
    - Understand and express yourself in French or English
    - Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, accepted refugee or an open work permit
    -Meet the eligibility criteria of the ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale
    Eligibility criteria (Fringues & Cie)*

    - Be an unemployed woman and between 18 and 60 years old
    - Be a resident of the Island of Montreal
    - Be able to understand and speak French
    - Be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or Accepted Refugee
    - Be available to work 35 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, variable schedule
    - Be without a diploma specialized in sales and customer service
    - Be on welfare, employment insurance or have no income
    - Meet the eligibility criteria of the ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale
    (other criteria may apply)
