The Residence is not an emergency shelter, but rather a program for women who have experienced violence and are experiencing a difficult time in their lives. This program offers community living in a secure environment at an affordable cost.
We focus on empowering women and developing their autonomy through personalized support. Furthermore, we offer a food bank, a volunteer center, employment counselling services, wellness activities, skills development, creativity, support, and personal development workshops in addition to group workshops.
A minimum age of 18, 6 months of sobriety and stability (drugs and/or gambling), ability to live independently (meals, hygiene, seeking assistance when needed, etc.), the presence of medical professionals and/or psychosocial professionals if necessary, as well as interest, ability, and willingness to participate in the Social Reintegration Program are requirements.
We’re counting on your support to spread the word about our mission and help women benefit from our program. Your understanding and commitment are essential if La Résidence is to continue to offer a positive and safe reintegration environment.
