PROMOTION OF GLOBAL HEALTH AND SEXUALITY EDUCATION
We invite young people to take charge of their own global health and adopt a healthy lifestyle. As part of our workshops, students will learn more about the different dimensions of health.
Our educational activities will allow them to make informed choices regarding their relationships and their sexuality. Our programs explore themes such as peer pressure, nuances of consent and sexual consent, signs of a healthy or unhealthy relationship and many other issues related to young people’s sexuality.
We can also help you address sensitive topics such as sexual violence and, more specifically, sexual exploitation providing prevention tools to increase awareness and prepare young people to identify and avoid risks.
ACGC AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
In order to build a more equal future for young people, we encourage them to identify the effects of gender stereotypes on their career choices. Nowadays, we still notice a strong segregation based on gender as much in post-secondary educational choices as in the labor market. For example, 90% of women are working in just 300 types of jobs!
To help building a more egalitarian employment ecosystem for all people, we offer worshops encouraging more diversified career choices. We have also created the website Un métier à mon image (only available in French for the moment) to help young people explore different professional possibilities. This platform offers a large repertoire of tools, training, videos, activities and references to promote a non-gendered approach on educational and vocational guidance.
Our Academic and Career Guidance Content (ACGC) workshops also focus on entrepreneurship, allowing young people to deconstruct myths about this profession option. We aim to encourage them to identify their strengths and bring their ideas to life.
